some of my pitchers look that to. and i do not know what it is from but the pitcher on mine seems to be working ok.

I asked this question on another cp site and the answer I got was:

It's a cross between a pitcher and a pyllodia.
It's not that uncommon, but it may also be a side effect of the tissue culture process.

I'm assuming this is true because my other Sarr. has made a
pyllodia and it made a weird trap too.
