| I've recently added a nepenthes alata to the greenhouse. We had a party in the backyard a few weeks back, and though our yard is clean, there's student housing (rentals)in the vicinity. Since college students aren't the best stewards of their yards - or their trash cans - a lot of flies attended as well....
Now I hung out several fly traps (the plastic, store-bought kind) ahead of time along with the new nepenthes. It had a feast...it ate really, really well. Can these things overeat and what happens if they do? Cheers |

| Don't worry about it at all. Let nature handle it. |

| They grow and grow and grow, if they get the light and water they need as well. |

| People overeat; plants generally do not. |
