What does "the brighest light possible" mean? How bright is that? We need more info. They need full Sun, all day. Maybe more time (and patience!) is needed.

I think the problem is that hybrids might show signs of parentage that are not consistent. My seedling hybrids all look different and were from the same plant in all likelihood.

Judith Hindle is a vegetatively reproduced cultivar. The genetic variation that results from sexual reproduction shouldn't be a factor here. Adrian, if you've only had the plant for a few weeks I'd give it a bit more time to colour up.

That is true, I forget that many nurseries sell them from tissue culture clones. If they were first generation seeds, then variation would be a factor like with mine.

I got a purple pitcher that was green. It went in full sun, and the existing pitchers didn't get much darker, but subsequent pitchers had the typical coloring, I'd wait for new growth to mature.
