No, I it does not have a spider web texture...it looks kinda crumbly. So far the plants do not look affected but it is still there after two days of drying out. I guess I will try picking it out with a spoon(?)

IF and this is a big if... you end up with a big mold problem, try captan fungicide... read the label for instructions (obviously) and make sure you have a radiation containment suit like in ET before you mix it... (ok thats over the top but the instructions make it sound like handling toxic waste LOL)

Usually, I'm able to take care of mold by makeing sure the moldy spot gets more light. (the molds I've encountered so far have been on the soil under the lower leaves on a couple of my nepenthes.)

Looks like the baby D. binatas could use a lot more light, which would get rid of the mold problem.
