I got a Venus Fly Trap over the weekend and am new to growing these plants. When I was a child my mom tried to grow these with me, but they always died. Now that I'm an adult I know we were growing them all wrong.

Did I do this right? It came in a small lot full of moss. I kept it in the pot and put it in a tubberwear container and filled with distilled water about 1/3 way up the pot. There is also a humidifier next to it that blows over my indoor garden. The room is kept pretty humid.

It receives a few hours of dabbled sunlight during the day and is with my other plants under a grow light for a few hours from 5pm-8pm.

Any advice or suggestions? I'd love to grow this thing for a long time. It already caught a bug!
