Nepenthes alata

Dear All,
I have a very flourishing Alata. It sits in my bathroom and is sprouting new leaves all over the place. I water it every few days with rainwater and spray it when I remember.
I made a mistake during the summer when I first got it of moving it into sun light so all of established pitchers are now dried brown and crispy onhe top. These still have water in them.
But on each of the new leaves there are new pitcher sprouts but none of these are developing.
What can I do to develop the new ones and should I leave the old ones hanging there?
Look forward to hearing your responses.
