Hello! Since Nepenthes are a tropical plant they don't require dormancy. They may slow down in growth, but they will not go dormant. So you can enjoy their beauty all year!
A lot of people use orchid fertilizer. I never have... or at least haven't thus far. The rule of thump for most Neps is warm temps, airy media mix, ~12 hour photoperiod, and good drainage.
I would feed it bugs. spider or flies that make it into your home will find their way into your plant! Never fertilize the soil. It will kill your plant. For more info check out www.cobra plant.com
