I'm growing one heli. I think it's a nutans. It was small when I got it about a year and a half ago, and it hasn't grown much. It usually has four or five pitchers, the longest of which will be about 4 inches. I'm growing it outside in a mostly sunny spot.

I live close to the ocean in SoCal, so it rarely gets very hot or cold here. Temperature drops 10 or 20 degrees F every night in summer. I think that's good for helis.

I try to keep it well-hydrated, pouring or spraying distilled water in the pitchers. However, one time I accidentally let all my plants dry out. The heli lost about half its pitchers, but it grew back really fast -- faster than one of my sarracenia that also got damaged.
