Feeding Failure.

So I went to check on my awesome Venus Fly Traps when I noticed 2 things different:

1. There was a LARGE Mosquito in the water, probably drowning since it may have hit the light and melted-ish.

2. A smaller mosquito in the water, different dish. Good condition. Just chilling out.

So I got the small one and fed it to a newly developed trap on my best plant. And the trap closed like a healthy plant should. Ate the mosquito, now tightening it's grip.

Got the big one and fed it to my BIGGEST trap. Now for the failure, The trap closed, the tweezer opened.

Note:

Metal > Plant

The tweezer made a huge slit in the trap. The big mosquito cannot escape (still). but there's a huge hole in the big trap. I've got a feeling that particular feeding went into "Failure Mode" and the trap will end up dying up and the bug will just rot.

Am I right?
