That could be a few things. Can you take a picture? A general and easy approach to deal with them is to simply place your affected pot in a container thatis taller and wider and overfill it with distilled water, so that the plant and critters are completely submerged. Wait a couple days and see if you have dead, floating pests. It could be aphids or other pests.

yeah but what will that do to that plant though? flooding it cannot be good for it especially when root rot is a concern... I have 3 drosera and 6 vfts i've noticed small white bugs on 2 of my drosera and then small black ones occasionally in the soil of another drosera...

Submerging bog plants for a few days will not cause root rot. It is constant waterlogging, that is enough water seeping up and standing in the soil (just enough water and air in stagnant conditions), that causes bacterial infections and root rot to set in for some of these plants. Some people have even experimented with Venus Flytraps by growing them underwater for months. It did not harm them... though I would add that they probably used a filtration system to move the water around and clean out bacteria.

A couple of days of submerging them will not harm them. Then you just take them out and let them dry to just moist soil again and start putting trays back under them like normal.

Could be soil mites or springtails. Maybe also fungus gnats. Flood em out.

They may look like "drowned rats" for a week or so, but they should come through it just fine. I've doen this for D. spatulata, D. adelae, and D. capensis and the plants made it through.
