Hey Everyone,
I bought a pitcher plant four days ago from a local nursery. I've always been interested in these plants and thought I'd give-it-a-go! Well, I noticed on all the plants there seemed to be small patches of fungus or maybe thrips on the pitchers? I chose the Sarracenia with the least damage. I don't know if it's from poor cultivation or that I found it in a shaded area of the greenhouse, at the nursery. I'm hoping dormancy will kill whatever parasite is on the leaves.
At home, I have it on the south side of the house where it gets plenty of sun. I water it using the tray method and with distilled water. Here are a couple pictures. Any help would be appreciated!
