My big order

Hi,

I am just about to make a big order from cobraplants as an early christmas

present.I know how to care for all of them except Drosera regia.I thought,

If I can grow a Rajah then I can grow a Regia.What are the day temperatures or

the night temperatures?How much light do I give it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Carnivorouplants,

Drosera regia will need about the same light as Drosera capensis to do well. They live in full sun in the wild.

You can keep it at room temperatures of about 75-80 degrees in the day and will require a nighttime drop to about 60 degrees to keep it alive. Basically it would be similar to Drosera graminifolia except a bit more temperamental about its temperature needs.

Congrats on your Drosera regia... try crossing it with your Flytrap and see if you can get any seedlings to survive.
