Nepenthes for beginners
Hi,
I used to be a member of Garden Web years ago when I raised orchids, but haven't been on in so long I had no idea what my name and password were. I had to recreate myself!
I've ended up with two different Nepenthes, probably hybrids. Love them both. After a steep learning curve with the first one where I almost killed it, it is producing pitchers (upper?) once again. Now that the second has been added, I find I'd like a few more. Can anyone offer suggestions for which types do best in a home situation. Relatively high home humidity, as I live in the southeastern US, and easy enough to mist or water daily. Can provide for night cooling most of the year but not all of it. I'd love to get a small variety of pitchers, and variety on plant size is always fun.
Any other guidance is always welcome. Thanks in advance!
