vft flowering during dormancy?

I purchased 3 typical VFTs this summer from a local garden store and they did well all summer (outside in full sun in LFS with rain-water). However, since I do not really have a shed or garage (I live in an apartment), my dormancy period is a bit contrived: they are sitting on my cold kitchen floor (say, 50-60 degrees) and getting no direct sun and less water than during summer (though still moist). Today I noticed that all of them are now sending up flower stalks, which they had not done all summer. I realize my dormancy period may not *really* be a dormancy period given the not-too-low temperatures, but does this (late?) flowering not bode well for their chances of success next year?

I guess my question is: Is this a bad sign or neutral (or good I suppose)? Should I still try to find a spot outside for them?
