What do you miss most?

OK, the cold weather's been here long enough to kill some bugs, so I'm yearning for the green things that are out there under the snow, etc.

I miss my JACKS! All that glistening greenery, shaped like hearts, that we could see from cozy windows. And the hellebores. My most plentiful variety is still standing tall though knock-kneed. The taller spikey ones that have been holding buds since November look like little Don Quixotes listing in the wind.

And the poor foxgloves. Even before the first snow, they were hugging the ground and totally terrified.

But the Jacks are no where to be seen. I now they're there, but I want to SEE them.

So what are YOU pining for?

All the shades of green, carolina blue skies and walking around in my yard. Being on a hill it's not easy to walk around in all this. I still have slippy snow on my north facing slope.
