Since we have not had rain here for almost a month, I have been using up the water in several rain barrels. Unfortunately, one had a ton of tadpoles in there. I wanted to put them in the lake, but hubbie said the fish would just eat them and that I needed to use the water on the plants. So I did, but I am sad about doing that. So, question: Does anyone else get lots of tadpoles in their collected rain water? Occasionally in the distant past, some of the tadpoles have had enough time to grow into frogs, which I rescued. But I really need the water now. What a choice!??!
