I think I'm supposed to make Corn Ice Cream. Not sure if it will taste as good as it did in Puerto Rico and I'm not sure where the ice cream maker is (or if it even exists anymore), but I will try. If it fails, I'll bring something else.

John, i have one of those regular ice cream makers that take salt and ice as well as one of the little ones where you freeze the cylinder ahead of time. you can borrow either or both if you don't find yours. Just let me know.

Tammy - I think I will borrow the ice/salt type machine. I can get free ice from the fair (don't tell) and make the ice cream up in advance and just keep it in the chest freezer. That way I can taste each batch to make sure it meets this groups high standards (ha ha ha ha)

'k john- i'll try to get it to you soon so you can make as many batches as you want ahead. We rarely use that one anyhow.

I'll bring a big bowl of very garlicky hummus.

My husband and I plan to come and we will bring some kind of salad. My husband knows nothing about plants, but I told him about the nice people and good food that were at the swap 3 years ago and he wants to come with me.

I'm bringing Pumpkin Bread.

I'm gong to bring some sort of chunky salsa guac. Just got the avocados today and they're green so i don't think they'll be soft enough for traditional guac. Also bringing some sort of pear dessert- probably pear pie. We are over run this year.

Sorry, folks. As much as I want to see you (and the plants), I think its a poor use of gas right now for me to drive from Elon. So: no hummus. I plan to see some of you at High Point.
