I had a wonderful surprise today from my daughter in law

Long story but my daughter in law sent me a real time video over Skype today of my first grandchildren. Twin girls born Sept 11th in Poland.
It's true. You can have no appreciation for other people's children and grandchildren until you have your own. Then you notice all children. We're hoping that with no snags in the immigration process to have them here next June.
As I said, long story but it has it's beginning with eHarmony.com. I'm a happy Nonnie. |

| Thankyou all. Watching them on the computer screen is like standing outdoors and watching them through a window. You just want to be there holding them but they're thousands of miles away. |

The girls are soon to be 7 months old and my son moved over to Poland before Thanksgiving. He comes back here every few months but plans to stay there until the immigration applications for his wife and babies are processed so they can all move here. He's quite the Mr. Mom now that his wife has gone back to work. Of course he has his mother in law and a twice a week nanny to help but he's falling into the routine rather effortlessly. Something about this younger generation of parents..the Mom's expecting full participation by the Dad's. Weird. I couldn't wait for my husband to go back to work after we brought the baby home. |
