Plant Co-Op is what my question was about!!!

I was curious, I have just recently found out about plant co-ops and I was wondering if anyone in the NC/SC area was actually active in any?

No veggie co-ops, but plant ones that you get plants and bulbs for a purchase price usually it is new plants you wouldn't normally get anywhere else.

Neither plan or plant co-op have I seen around Raleigh. I did read about an entire garden center that was run as a co-op up north, someday civilization will reach us down here...

Fran there's one thru yahoo groups, but I didn't see where it saved that much money. I can shop at BB's and do about as well and not worry about all the transport cost and shipping stresses. Plus if the person doing it is in a season different than yours then by the time they get them and get around to sending you yours you're a few weeks (or more) off optimal planting time for them. Which cause even more stresses on the plants.

John, by the civilization reaches us, it'll be time to move!! :D
