HAVE: Several shrubs & perennials

Hi fellow Carolinians,

I have to make room in my beds for things I've grown from seeds, so I have to remove some things. I would like to trade for a few things but will *consider* giving them away if you haven't come by my house before in the past & been given plants. =)

I am looking for plants that are drought tolerant (xeric landscape) dwarf grasses & other plants:

Blue Oat Grass **** really want this one,
Schizachyrium scoparium 'The Blues' (Little Bluestem),
Pennisetum orientale 'Tall Tails',
Karl Foerster Feather Reed Grass,
Allium (Globemaster or other big tall types),
Ilex 'Sky Pencil',
Oriental Lilies,
Dark colored Sedums like 'Purple Emporer'...and that about does it.

I have some of these shrubs already dug up and placed in containers; others are in-ground and waiting to be dug up. I simply have too much to travel with to a plant swap so I prefer to exchange or give away these plants at my home. My house is easy to locate off a main road in High Point area. If you're willing to drive over and dig up what you want, I'll gladly work with you and give you something for the house call. Please let me know if you're interested in anything, especially if you have any of my wants listed above =) Thanks!

Shrubs: C = in container

Shasta Viburnum 2' X 3' wide
Autumn Jazz Viburnum 4'tall C, colorful fall foliage
Leatherleaf Viburnum 3' C, shade tolerant
Davidii Viburnum 1'X 1', nice veined leaves
Sweet Tea Olive 5'tall, well established
'Summer Wine' Ninebark 3'tall C, nice dark foliage
2 Emerald Gaeity Euonymous 1'X 3', pretty
2 Gold variegated (forgot name) Euonymous 1'X 2', pretty
Burning Bush 4'X 3', well established
Virginia Sweetspire 3'X3', hardy and fast grower
Dwarf Alberta Spruce 2', slow growing
2 'Hummingbird' Clethra 2', likes moist soil
'Old Gold' Juniper 2'X 2', drought tolerant
Crimson Red Japanese Maple 4'X 2', nice
Weeping Willow saplings, cutting propagated, small now

Perennials:
3 Echinacea - Purple cone flowers, classic wildflower
2 sml pink Hollyhocks 1'& 5 maroon seedlings/cottage-like
6+ Pony Tails grass (seedlings), graceful and wispy
Verbascum 'Silver Lining',HUGE and bold presence, needs room
Columbine 'Barlow Rose', graceful & pretty
Liriope, Monkey Grass, dependable & very hardy, sun/shade
Ostrich Fern, likes moist soil and semi-shade

If you make an effort to acquire something off my want list, I'll reward you with 2 for 1 type exhange, etc. Otherwise, I might consider letting them go if we've exhausted all options and you drive over to get something.

thanks

Would really like the Dwarf spruce but don't have your "wants." Don't know what else I have that you might like. . .several unlisted. PLMK. Thanks! rosebush

Hi Rosebush,

Do you live in the Piedmont area? I'd be content trading you the Spruce for a few Lamb's Ears you have if you'd like to. Please let me know if that sounds good to you. Thanks

=)

Wherewerewe, I am interested in your shasta viburnum and the hollyhocks, but the only thing I have on your list are a couple of asian lilies.

I do live in the Triad, though. (Why don't you come to the swap June 17?)

Would you like some confederate jasmine cuttings? They're very fragrant.

Kitty
