| Step 1: go to Ingles and purchase the cheap Laura Lynn version of brownie mix, the Laura Lynn version of canned cherry pie filling, Durkee's Coconut (do not skimp on the quality of the coconut, it must be moist), and any other ingrediants called for in the brownie mix that you do not already have.
Laura Lynn's brownie mix calls for 1/4 c water and 1/2 c oil. Reduce the water by 1 1/2 Tablespoons and the oil be 3 Tablespoons. Add the exact amount of eggs called for (I think it is 2). Stir in the entire can of cherry pie filling and 1/2 cup of coconut. Bake as per directions on the box, but allow at least 10 minutes more for baking time, possibly 15. Allow the brownies to cool and if you want them to be a bit less sticky, sift powdered sugar over the top before serving. |

| Do you mind if I steal your recipe to make for the High Point swap. I did not get a chance to come so I missed this great sounding treat and would love to make it to take to the Oct 4th swap, Thaks Les |
