fig tree cuttings

I tried to post on the exchange forum, but it said 'wanted' instead of 'have'. I have cuttings of brown turkey fig tree. I planted it too close to my other plants, and so had to take it out, but I can't bear to see it go without someone taking some cuttings and let it live on somehow. Its roots spread far, so don't plant it near to where you want to grow other stuff. But if you want some cuttings please let me know. I have never killed a tree before and feel ---well I can't even express it, You know what I mean? Please take some cuttings. email me at

well, you picked the perfect time- figs are supposed to root best from cuttings taken in jan/feb. you could try reposting on the exchanges with the correct heading; it should allow you. you could also try and post it in the fig forum- someone over here will probably be happy to take them off your hands if you're willing to ship. i don't need any brown turkeys, thank you though!
