Having trouble with your Japonicas?

With the recent cold snap, all my camellia blossoms that were ready to bloom soon, died. Anyone else lose most of their buds?

Unfortunately, this happens to me every year.
I have begun to plant Sassanqua cammelias so I can have some fall blooms.
Before the last cold snap, I cut some blooms off the Japonica camellias so I could at least enjoy them inside.

it seems to happen every year. I am going to try and find some of the hardier varieties, april rose, april snow, april tryst, etc. I've heard that even the blooms are hardier and will withstand our cold snaps.
