New to the area, and looking for some nicer nurseries within a 2 or 3 hour drive of the Charleston SC area. I have been to most, if not all, in Charleston and am looking for nurseries with some more interesting- unusual plant material. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you!

Yes. Hyams seems to be the best so far... Im always looking for unusual things, especially trees and shrubs. I know that there are quite a few nice specialty nurseries in the Raleigh area, but not sure I want to drive 5 hours? lol Thank you for responding!

How about Woodlanders in Aiken SC? They allow visitors by appointment. http://www.woodlanders.net/index.cfm/fuseaction/home.home/index.htm
