Can I still plant spring bulbs?

Someone busier than I gave up and gave me a huge bag of grape hyacinth bulbs they'd intended to plant last fall.

Most of the bulbs have begun to wake up and I'd like to get at least some of them into the ground.

They'll go in a dry bed tucked among the foliage of ice plant.

Is it worth trying?

yep. They may not bloom this year but they'll live to bloom and multiply another year. If they have growth they are alive and raring to go!
