Seeking houseplant donations for non-profit

I work at the Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg, SC, and we're in the process of converting some space here into a lounge area. We're looking for donations of large houseplants that are pest free and will tolerate indirect light and low-medium humidity. Plants that can be delivered by you would be preferred. If you have any to donate, please email me at sdupre@spartanarts.org or bring them to the Center between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Monday thru Friday. (We're open Saturdays, but I am not here to receive them. If Saturday works better for you, please email me).

I have several I could donate, but alas! I am not close to you. My sisters live in Greenville, but I rarely go there to visit any more. We meet at the beach and party in our old age. If I find that I am coming down that way, I will contact you. Sorry you did not get some good replies.

Think about approaching some of the big box stores in the area - including grocery stores. This time of year they often have sales and, I suspect, leftover floor plants a bit 'past prime' (due to inattention). Prime candidates for re-homing at your facility. Just a thought. Good luck!
