You see crabgrass already growing now at this time of year in your yard??? OR do you see the dead remnants of the clumps from last year? I would find it hard to believe that crabgrass is already growing in your Bermuda lawn right now. It could be some other cool season grass that resembles crabgrass but doubt seriously it is crabgrass, mostly likely poa annua. See link below.

I have always been told to start the Halts crabgrass preventer when the Forsythia blooms.It is starting to bloom in my area.

I am going to spread the Halts Crabgrass preventer as you advised. I did not do it yesterday as I was manually pulling up weeds so the Halts could work better. Appreciate everyone's input.

I read on some site, that after Halts, the time to fertilize Bermuda is on May 1 with Turf Builder with Weed Control.
