I was out at the Raleigh State Farmer's Market today. Quite a few of the plant vendors have started to return --it must be Spring!! Several of the vendors are already set up and open for business and they say most of all the plant vendors will be in by April 1, with more moving in by this weekend. I got a really good deal on 3 gallon knock out roses for $10.00 from Longhill nursery and I picked up some nice, healthy looking green giant arborvitae and some nice gardenias all in one gallon pots for only $5.00 each from Earthworks nursery. Last week I picked up some great looking 4 inch herbs for only $3.00 each from Crystal at Honeysuckle Farms. Best of all, I got to use my visa card, as many of the plant vendors now accept credit cards. That leaves my cash to buy a "goodie" from The Swiss Chalet Bakery!!!
