My resolution for this year was to not buy any new plants at all. I've since broken that resolution and now that the damn has burst, I've taken on a new resolution.

I want plants that are drought-tolerant, deer and rabbit resistant and can tolerate clay soil. Now, obviously, I'll amend the soil when I plant to help alleviate the clay issue, but as for my other desires, can anyone tell me how this plant measures up?? I've fallen totally in love, but I refuse to put another plant in my garden that doesn't match my criteria.

I've seen this plant online at two different sites, but has anyone seem them locally? Perhaps the Farmer's Market in Raleigh?
