blueberry bushes

I was trying to protect two blueberry bushes in my back yard from a freeze and frost last night. I knew the damage may happen between 4 and 9 a.m. so I had my sprinkler ready (rather than trying to cover them up with sheets or blankets, I was going to try spraying them like peach and orange growers do). Well, at 9 a.m. I get up to see how everything's going and I don't see or hear ANYTHING! No water is sprinkling or spraying. The sprinkler and hose were frozen solid. After some creative thawing, I got the whole thing running again and sprayed until the air temp got up to around 50 degrees. Now, I'm not sure whether the bushes, fruit or flowers were damaged or not. Can anyone tell me what to expect? Before the cold conditions hit, I had both small blueberries and some flowers still on the bushes.
