I still grow mine.

The moon vines less so, I think, but the morning glories will come back. They aren't TOO bad - and are obvious enough, and easy enough, that you just yank them out of where you don't want them this year. I haven't found them too far from where the original was planted, unless I gather up a big bunch of weeds I let get out of hand when the seeds are dropping...., and then there may be some coming up in the compost pile or along the route to the pile....

I have started my moonflowers and they are also doing great. I love the night opening 'show' and the scent. They are easy enough to pull if they do reseed themself. I plant some on the obelisk with the early blooming clematis and then the obelisk is always blooming.

Usually my moonflowers don't come back....the morning glories are another thing altogether. It can take years to clean up all the seedlings from one seasons morning glory vines.

I've been told I should tear them down before they set seed.

Never had moonflower to reseed but the morning glories are Terminators ( I'll be BACK!) Don't worry, you'll become an expert at spotting a seedling from fifty yards.

I've never had any problems with Moonflowers. Was always concerned about the MG stories I've heard, but tried a MG for the first time last year so we'll see soon!!

I have both, the moonflowers aren't too bad but i've found morning glory seedling all over my yard. But it isn't a big deal. I actually dig up the earth around them and transplant them somewhere else they might look good. This year I even found two in my container, carrot garden. How they got there I have no idea. But they are bothso pretty it is worth planting. You will know the morning glory seedling when you see it. Just pluck it up and transplant or break it up and throw it down.

I grew one vine last year and if you look at the picture you can see how big they can get. I saved some seed to start this year but I will not need to. I have found about four babies so far that have popped up in this bed. I will just move them our pluck them out.
