In my garden - the large white flowered ones seem to like damp soil all the time but the smaller colored forms seem to like normal garden conditions.

I chekced the web site and callas are Tender III - injured below 25�F (2�C) - should be grown in containters. We don't get too many days of sustained temps below 25�F, but we dot get some. Should I dig these and store till spring or 'chance it'?

I grow calla lily IN my water feature (in the stream and beside the waterfall). Literally planted into the rocks! I started with one plant in 2006 and it's returned and multiplied every year since. We even turned off our waterfeature this winter and it (and the babies) survived. In cold winters, I've seen the foliage encased in ice. No worries.

Like ginger, I cut them back after the first frost and they return in glory (are blooming now). To divide, I take a sharp knife in spring. They multiply rapidly when grown in water.
