ditch rose

I thought that I had this rose ID'd...I googled rambling rose and came up with Dorothy Perkins. (click on link below to see my pix). But yesterday, I was yapping with a friend who said this particular rose was introduced by Clemson and has become invasive and troublesome and if you get poked by a thorn in the winter, it is poisonous. I cannot seem to find any info on Clemson introduced roses. I still am holding to the idea that it is a Dorothy Perkins.

Does anyone know? You see them along alot of ditches here in Pickens county. Beautiful pink roses that ramble along the ground and some people have them grow up into a bush form in thier front yard.

By theway, the blooms are about 1 1/2 inch in diameter and range from light pink (almost white) to dark pink, though mostly fall in between the two like the color of a sweet n low packet.
