| anyone out there have any ideas for something to do to fend off all this rain besides watching and cursing? I've been able to shelter the ones in containers, but the ones in the ground I am worried about. It has rained every day since Monday, with chances of rain tomorrow and Sunday too... |

| I've had that problem many years back and I know plants will only take up as much as they need. The excess water drives out the oxygen in the soil so I poked holes in the soil near the plant roots and that seemed to help (kinda like aeration we do to turf). |
