Wanted: Hosta any variety

Hi - It's been quite a while since I've posted to this site or worked in my yard, but I'm back! I have a new shade garden and would love some hosta. Since my yard has been so neglected - I have very little to swap - phlox, Stella de Oro day lillies, purple iris.... I live in Belmont - about 20 miles SW of Charlotte.

Also, I have been trying to get in touch with another member (momof2boys). Jennifer - If you're still gardening, please send me an email - would love to talk to you.

Have you checked your nearest HD? I stopped by one in Raleigh (Capital Blvd) and they have their 1 gal Hostas 6 for $9.96. No special varieties but I have to say they were in pretty good shape. Although I do not know how long they will stay in good shape they have them on the side lot, out of the way, and in full sun. I've noticed that several nurseries seem to be having sales. I guess this will help lessen the number of plants they need to water. I hope you find some good deals. Good luck, Dirtrx

I believe I saw hostas at Walmart tonight for $3! They had several varieties to choose from, too.
