If your garden has been hot and dry they are probably dormant anyway and should handle the torture just fine. Cut the peonies back by half (remove half the leaves), leave the lilies as long as you can unless they are day lilies then cut their leaves in half also. Don't do anything to the yuccas, they'll recover just fine. Move them into the shade, keep them slightly damp.
