Are you growing grafted tomatoes this year?

If you are growing grafted tomatoes this summer how disease resistant do they appear to be so far after the 30 days plus of rain we have had in the Carolina regions? Recent reports indicate that tomato blights are causing serious damage to area crops due to the weather. Is tomato grafting onto a disease resistant root stock worth the time and/or the cost? Observations? Thoughts? Comments?

RE: Are you growing grafted tomatoes this year?

I have 4 mixed in with 30 other non grafted plants (I may have over done it on the plantings this year). So far only two plants have suffered due to the damp weather and it isn't the grafted ones. It also isn't the heirlooms which is odd because in the past they were always the first to suffer. So far there hasn't been any stand outs from the mix - good or bad. Now that the sun is shining again I'll be looking to see who performs best flavor and disease resistance wise.
