Here is my to do list:
- pull up summer flowers and add to compost pile
- amend flower beds
- sow some perennial seeds in fall and hope for first year blooms
- dig up and store summer bulbs
- move and divide some perennials
- start slug bait to reduce population in spring

h142's list looks like my list except I have the addition of building raised beds over the winter....I'm spreading that little project out...so I don't feel like I have nothing garden wise to do all winter.

I am also planting my fall crops ( collards and greens)

I can't bear to pull up my flowers while they are still blooming beautifully. That makes me late planting lettuces and brocolli etc. Such a dilemma when the bed does double duty.

Dottie- i have the same problem in the spring and fall! Glad to know i'm not the only one.
