I'm wondering the same thing, Dottie. Sent my son to chop down a resprouting crape myrtle we'd cut earlier in the summer and had to leave. come home to find out he'd whacked one of our blueberry bushes to the ground. Granted, it wasn't doing well, but i am hopeful that it will come back from the roots. I'd say yours has a much better shot. We get some kind of caterpillars some years that nearly defoliate sections of our bushes and they've always rebounded fine from that.

Should be fine...give it some supplemental deep watering and a little 10-10-10 just to be safe. It should put out new leaves in a week or so. Next year's harvest may be a bit lighter, but the shrub should be fine.

Thanks buck..I'll wait on the 10-10-10 til March and we've had more than enough regular rainfall.
It gave such nice coral rose fall leaf color last year. Hope it rebounds next spring.
