Can I plant amaryllis now? Outside? Will they live year round in the ground in Hendersonville? South side of house? Sheltered? Anything else you can tell me would be helpful. My neighbor is moving to the next town and she has dug up here amaryllis and is letting them thouroughly dry out. Should she be doing this and if not - what should she be doing?
