A few years ago Topher showed up at the Raleigh Swap with some seedling dwarf peach trees. Here is the one I took home as it looks today.

The Raleigh Swap is on the 29th of this month. You don't want to miss it.

John,
That looks awesome! Love the color on it
against the green neighbors.
Did you get peaches this year on it?
Were they good?

It was covered with peaches and I never got around to tasting one. By the time they looked ripe the Green June Bugs had also found them and I didn't want to step into the flower bed and fight them for some.

Friends that also grow this form and the green leaved form say the peaches are decent tasting so next year I will protect some of the fruit. I have another section of the yard with fruit trees and it has normal sized peach trees. I grow this one because I love any plant with undulating edges to its leaves. I have seen these mini peaches used in flowerbeds in other peoples gardens and I always like the way the leaves look against normal flower bed plants.
