Off Topic: Need to place 2 kittens

Hello pet lovers,

I have had three, male kittens since April. They are all brothers and almost identical. They are around 7 months old. I went to get one kitten back in April saw that their owners couldn't care less, and took all three. They are orange tiger kitties. They know how to use a litterbox or can be outside only cats. Super friendly even with children. I have a 19 month old who can carry them around. They arent shy even with strangers, and are great mousers. They keep the squirrels away too. Very healthy, loving, and playful.

I plan on keeping the one who has been my baby since I got them in April. The other two can go free to a good home only. I can give pics to serious inquiries only.

I am located in Eastern North Carolina in the Piedmont region.

I posted in Pets but thought this regional forum might be more of a help.

Danielle

I'm glad you're helping out. Did the owners spay the mother after this litter? There are way too many kittens and it's heart-breaking. Someone dumped 2 cats at our place within 2 weeks last month. We are reluctantly keeping one, but the other is obviously from a one-cat home and aggressive toward ours. The no-kill shelters are over-full. I have friends who have turned into mini-refuges, providing at least food (and spay/neuter).

I doubt they had her spayed. She looked so young herself. It is sad everyone just lets cats breed it seems that not many people like them either (especially men). That is the problem with trying to place kittens is that there is an overload of them as it is.

I won't give them to a shelter where they will be put to sleep. I was reading about my counties animal shelter. They said that in the afternoons they euthanize animals that are deemed too viscious or "non-adoptable". Daily they euthanize approximatly 15-20 animals!!! I was stunned at that...just speechless...

The no-kill shelters are too full or only accept cats from shelters. We have several no-kill cat shelters where I live, but they are full.

I love my kittens. They only problem I have with them is my garden. It is not a litterbox. I have tried several methods that havent worked. I am looking into Bonide Repels All now.
