Garden enclosure success

This my first year of veg. garden at a new residence, the garden was surrounded on two sides by centipede lawn and lots of lawn weeds.

I have the lawn mowed every other week and it seemed impossible to instruct them not to blow the clippings (and weed seeds) into the garden.

So, I got 2x4 clear panels of plexiglass and surrounded the garden.

It really did the trick.

It not only kept the clippings/weed seeds out but it kept the centipede lawn in check and because the panels were clear they didn't create a shade.

After most of the leaves are down I will pull up the panels, give them a good wash and store them indoors ready for next spring.

The panels are easily found at Lowes or Home Depot.
