who gave me Ligalartum at W-S swap. ID?

One of our members who regularly frequents this forum gave me this plant a few wks ago. The plant is small in a 3 inch pot. I cannot find it on the internet and need to read about it. Ligulartum? I get no results no matter how I spell it. It is a shade foliage plant. Does anyone know what it is and where to plant it? Perennial. The plant label was written on a white plastic spoon.

Hi Robin, The correct spelling is ligularia - Ligularia dentata. The particular one that you got may be the Britt-Marie. Originally, Billie had got this plant from a nursery in VA. I hope this helps. Judy
