Big Non-Profit Plant Sale in Spartanburg Oct. 17

Hi everybody!

First, I'm embarrassed I keep disappearing for such stretches. I'm "around," just sort of spread thin and scattered.

At any rate, I DID want to let everyone know that the Spartanburb Men's Garden Club and Hatcher Garden are having our semi-annual plant sales from 9 a.m. -- 3 p.m. next Saturday at Hatcher Garden in Spartanburg, 820 John B. White Blvd. (S.C. 296, aka Reidville Rd.). Hatcher Garden will be selling hundreds of varieties of annuals, perennials, vines and ornamental grasses -- all in 1-gallon containers; The Men's Garden Club sells only trees and shrubs, including a lot of really nice rose bushes -- all at very competitive prices, in containers ranging from 1-gallon to 5-gallon. I'll be helping with the Hatcher sale until about 11, and then manning the sales table at the Men's Garden Club sale the rest of the day.
