My two Trombone squash vines are still producing an average about one fruit per day. On Saturday, I finally cut the one that I have been letting grow for seed for the past two months. It is 3 feet long and weighs 17.2 pounds. One web site suggested that mature Trombone squash can be eaten like a winter squash. If so, it should last us all winter. In any case, I expect to have seed to share next spring for anyone else who would like to try them.
