| For years I've been leaving up my hummingbird feeder up in october and November in hopes of attracting a winter hummer. It finally paid off. For the last few weeks I've had one hanging around and feeding on the salvias. Now that the freeze knocked them out the other night it's been comming to the feeder. I believe it's a female Rufous but will not know for sure until someone comes to band it. |

| I had one lonely female Rubythroat (I think) coming to my bottlebrush tree up until this week. |
