| My husband and I are planting a bird/butterfly/critter habitat and I have been searching high and low for a few serviceberry trees. Anyone have any suggestions as to where we can find some? They are always high up on the recommended tree list for birds, but none of the nurseries around here have them or even know of them! |

| Ask for Amelanchier x grand. 'Autumn Brilliance'. I have bought them around Raleigh NC. Most of what you will find will be cultivars developed for spring bloom or fall color. For cultivars developed for more and better fruit you will have to mail order or drive up to Edible Landscaping in Afton VA. They have 4 or 5 varieties. I have wild ones in my woods but they don't make many berries. |
