If it smells like a Meyer lemon. If it grows like a Meyer lemon. If it taste like a Meyer lemon. If it looks like a Meyer lemon. But it is not a Meyer lemon.

I think you will find that your lemons will eventually look more like a typical Meyer. About 20% of mine look like the lemon in your picture even on my #15 tree bought last spring.

Because Meyers are a mix of orange, mandarin, lemon...?? they can take many forms. The majority, what we call our commercial grade, are a bit rounder than say a Eureka or Lisbon; they are 3 per pound in size; and generally have smooth skin. Apart from the "norm" I have seen them look like oranges, even grapefruits; I have some that are rough and thick skinned; some look almost like pears, with a neck at the top. Although this example could be a sport, it is most likely a Meyer.

Here is my little meyer.

That is a nice looking juicy lemon. My lemon tree is in bloom right now and I just can't wait for my first lil ball of sunshine to emerge. I notice in the picture some slight discoloration in a few of the leaves is this a warning sign? I have been very fortunate to not have had any leaves discolor but want to be prepared to know what to do should trouble arise. Upon searching for hand pollination videos I found one that also described how to treat troublesome leaves?!? While I've never heard of treating leaves themselves I was wondering if this video is legit and what precautions to take if it is true or if it is even really necessary.

I do have some discoloration on the old leaves.
It just finished a big flowering session. And I took out all the fruits except 2.
It's still flowering.
I do use foliage pro with vinegar like most here in this forum.
I am just thankful it did not drop all the leaves from transitioning into indoor.
