When to Repot

I have a potted dwarf Trovita orange from which I have just harvested the last fruit. The tree is in full bloom already but should be repotted. When is the best time to repot?

RE: When to Repot

If you are only going to pull out the entire root ball to transfer it from the current pot to a larger pot and you are adding some soil in the spaces, you can do it now. That will not disturb the roots. If you are going to do some root pruning and generally disturb the roots, I would wait until Spring when you can leave the plant outside.

In zone 8a it's probably outside now, in which case it's probably fine to repot. I'm starting my re-pots now.
